The KAUST Children’s Center (KCC) offers working and studying families, with school-aged children, an after-school care during school days from 3:00 to 5:30 p.m. every day.
KCC supports children in becoming the kindest, most capable, and most resilient version of themselves. That means giving each child the space, encouragement, and materials they need to follow their passion.
Our trained and enthusiastic coaches put children’s time to productive use with fun-filled learning exercises such as reading, building blocks, puzzles, art, craft, and much more. Children are particularly encouraged to read books appropriate for their reading level from a selection in the library at KCC classes.
The program is open to children in Grades 1 to 5. Priority is given to single parents and families where both parents are employed or studying at KAUST.
Please note that spaces are limited to 40 children, so we encourage you to register early.
Program details
This year, we are offering two enrollment options:
- Age group: 7 – 11 years, Grade 1 to Grade 5
- Location: Gardens Elementary School (GES)
Timing: 2:00 to 5:30 p.m.

- Registration closes: August 12, 2026
- Payment deadline: August 15, 2026
After registering, you will receive payment instructions by email. Once you have paid, please email KCC your payment receipt to complete the registration.
We encourage you to register early to secure a place for your child; spots are limited.
