Finding a job in the video game industry can be challenging, but building a strong portfolio, networking with industry professionals, and staying on top of trends and technologies can increase your chances of success. Steer’s company day at KAUST will give you a comprehensive understanding of Steer and the Kingdom’s high-growth gaming sector. This program is a shining example of SNA’s unwavering commitment to nurturing the future of KAUST students and bolstering the Kingdom’s workforce.
Riyadh-based Steer Studios, wholly owned by Savvy Games Group, is on a mission to create ground-breaking gaming experiences for players worldwide. Steer champions Savvy’s drive for long-term growth and development of the global gaming and esports sector in the Kingdom, through long-term investment and enduring capital commitment. Savvy’s ambition is to establish 250 Saudi game companies, creating 39,000 jobs, by 2030.Steer is key to that goal. The upcoming company day will showcase exciting hiring opportunities as part of the In-Kingdom Career Launch Program (IKCLP), in pursuit of KAUST’s commitment to developing a highly skilled workforce that drives economic growth and innovation — aligned with the Vision 2030 Human Capability Development Program.
Walk-in interviews (3:00 p.m.-5 p.m.) are open for specified majors (Mathematics, Applied Physics, Computer Science, Statistics, and Electrical and Computer Engineering) on the Steer Studios Company Day.
