KAUST Health, in collaboration with Health, Safety and Environment (HSE), invites the community to take part in World First Aid Day.
World First Aid Day is an annual global event celebrated in September. It is an opportunity to build awareness and confidence in responding to medical emergencies. It focuses on the actions people can take before Emergency Medical Services arrive, including CPR, AED use, choking, severe bleeding, burns and fractures.
Through demonstrations and hands-on activities, participants can learn more about essential first aid skills and how to respond when someone needs help.
The campaign carries a simple message: Learn Today. Save a Life Tomorrow.

No registration is required. Simply stop by, meet the KAUST Health team and learn more.
Objectives
- Teach hands-only CPR and the basics of effective chest compressions.
- Build confidence in recognizing and using an Automated External Defibrillator (AED).
- Improve awareness of how to respond to choking, severe bleeding, burns, fractures, and other common emergencies.
- Help community bystanders feel more prepared and confident to act while professional help is on the way in emergencies.
