Updated KAUST Health H-Connect Portal

Dear KAUST community,

In an ongoing effort to improve our customer service, we have an updated the H-Connect portal for the KAUST Health Clinic. Some of the features in the HealthCare portal are:

  • Ease of booking and canceling your own appointments
  • Confirmation SMS
  • Actions (booked or cancelled) listed in front office page
  • View upcoming appointments
  • Electronic records available on “Medical Report” page
  • Lab results available on “View Lab Orders” page
  • Diagnoses with onset date and resolved date listed on “View Problem List” page
  • “View Medication” page with a list of ongoing and past medications complete with prescribing doctor, start and end dates.

New booking system for Dr. Soliman Fakeeh Hospital

There is also a new efficient booking system for appointments at Dr. Soliman Fakeeh Hospital in Jeddah. Please try QuickBooking at http://hconnect.drfakeehhospital.com/Quick-Booking/Login.xhtml, which is also easily accessible on the hospital website www.dsfh.med.sa, or you can download the free app for your mobile device from the Apple Store or Google Play Store. Using this link will save you time and you will be able to see all available appointment times to fit your schedule.

After the HCONNECT system has not been working for weeks, this new system is also a problem. Surely it is not that hard to have a system that actually works? I am not able to use my current registration details to log in. You say we should be ready to go if we already use the HCONNECT, well I used to be able to use HCONNECT until it stopped working, and now I cannot use the new system either. It will not accept my existing login details. I will continue to use the old fashioned telephone as I have been.

We’re sorry that you’ve had problems with login at the new H-Connect portal. We know how frustrating that can be. Please write to kmcit@drfakeehhospital.com and the I.T. engineer will be happy to assist you. Generally, the site has been working well and we hope that will be true for you very soon.

Once you are actually able to make an appointment surely it would not be too hard for meeting invite to be automatically sent to your email address on file with KMC. This is now implemented with the beauty parlor and it works wonders for remembering appointments. It is simply a thought that may help reduce the no shows.
