As part of our commitment to continually improving our services, the two-factor authentication (2FA) –“DUO Security application” is enabled for all Office 365 services outside the KAUST campus, effective Thursday, August 30, 2018.
If you are on campus or using a VPN outside campus, you will be logged in automatically. However, if you are accessing Office 365 off campus without a VPN, please follow the instructions below to enable the 2FA.
- Login to https://portal.office.com using your KAUST credentials.
- Sign-in using your KAUST email i.e. xxxx@kaust.edu.sa. On the Waseet login page, type your username and password. You will be redirected to the DUO (2FA) page.
- Select the device you registered and send a push message or enter the code for your DUO mobile app.
- You will be logged in to the Office 365 homepage.
