The KAUST Reverse Vending Machines (RVM) are back in operation!
They are Located at the Discovery Square and Campus Diner and you can dispose your empty plastic bottles and aluminum cans in these machines and start to collect your points for sustainable gifts!
The RVM can be operated as follows:
- Put empty can or bottle in the RVM Machine
- Wait for your points voucher to come out
- Collect enough points to redeem the gifts listed below at the KAUST Reuse Center near the Discovery Square.

We were trying to find these machines but failed to do so. Could you kindly advice exactly where they are so we can dispose our recycle bins/cans? Many thanks.

The machine in Diner – most of the time is full, and we don’t know who to call. It would be great if it’s been collected twice daily.
