The KAUST Medical Center (KMC) opened in 2009 and has grown and developed alongside our KAUST community. Since 2012, the number of consultations at the clinic has doubled and will continue to grow to meet the health needs of our community.
In promoting the health and wellness of our community, we aim to continuously improve our service provision, quality and patient satisfaction. KMC is currently embarking on a journey of rebranding and service development. We are very proud to be able to share our new name and logo with you.
KMC will now be known as KAUST Health. Over the coming weeks and months, you will notice changes in our signage and branding.
In addition, as part of our ongoing effort to improve our customer satisfaction, KAUST Health will also be launching a new website in the near future.
At KAUST Health, we are committed to supporting our community to “Live well. Be well.”

The previous name is more meaningful đ
It is a good step to grow and improve branding.
But more importantly is growing the services in parallel to population growth.
we used to have apointments with family medicine or dentist within a very short time. Now 1 month is the ideal for dental appointment, if we are lucky to speak to the operator.
I hope these services are extended together with the the new brand.

The new brand is very elegant and forward looking!
I think that the new survey results of which KMC services were part will tell the real story about the level and quality of service we are getting from DSFH. Let’s hope that some appropriate action is taken based on the results.
Apart from the new name, the new logo looks great!
As saying ‘I’m going to KAUST Health’ doesn’t sound right to me, I’d definitely stick to the names ‘KMC’ and ‘Clinic’ which I find more relevant/appropriate.
What about KHS – KAUST Health Services?

I understand and welcome the need for continuous service improvement, but I do not see how this name change will improve services or encourage more people to use them. Most people identify with the name KMC. KAUST health could be mixed up with the recreation facilities as these provide a healthy lifestyle option also.
