Students: Join the STEAM Innovation Challenge at Enrichment in the Spring

Want to try to solve global problems in 48 hours?

The STEAM Innovation Challenge is a brand new, one-of-a-kind two-day intensive student ideation event held in KAUST. Students will work in mixed interdisciplinary teams alongside students from other Saudi universities to develop and propose well-defined solutions to three major real world challenges. STEAM is sponsored by the Islamic Development Bank.

Dates: April 29 – 30

STEAM will outline three challenges to be undertaken on the first morning. Over 48 hours and with the help of a range of experts, each team will formulate and present a solution. Students who take part in this activity will have background or expertise in science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics. A certificate of completion will be awarded to participants along with first, second and third team prizes. STEAM is open only to KAUST masters and Ph.D. students. Fifty-five spots will be filled on a first-come-first-served basis.*
