KAUST Research Conference:
Emerging Concepts and Materials in Solar Energy Conversion Poster Session
Monday, October 31
7:00 p.m.
Atrium, level 2, Al-Jazri (bldg. 4)

The KAUST Research Conference: Emerging Concepts and Materials in Solar Energy Conversion will provide an opportunity for up to 50 graduate students and postdoctoral fellows to exhibit their research in front of an international audience through a poster presentation. The best posters will be awarded poster prizes sponsored by ACS, and a special prize sponsored by KAUST IEO will be awarded for the best presentation of a research project of significant market potential and industrial relevance.

To register, simply forward your names, affiliations, title and poster to annisa.fitri@kaust.edu.sa. All selected posters will be printed in the KAUST copy center (sponsored by the KAUST Solar Center).

Thursday, October 20
5:00 p.m.: Deadline for title and poster submission

Monday, October 24
5:00 p.m.: Notification of selected posters

Monday, October 31
Seaside, level 2, Al-Jazri (bldg. 4)

3:00 – 4:00 p.m.: Poster setup
7:00 – 9:00 p.m.: Judges viewing

Wednesday, November 2
Level 0 auditorium between Al-Jazri and Al-Kindi (bldgs. 4 and 5)

12:00 p.m.: Winning poster announcement

Poster competition guidelines:

  • Poster(s) should be sent in PDF format, portrait layout and A0 size
  • (841mm x 1189mm or 33.11″ x 46.81″)
  • Authors are expected to present by their posters during the poster session to answer questions from judges and attendees
  • Participants are responsible for collecting their poster(s) after the conference. Unclaimed posters will be discarded.
