Paraview Workshop: KAUST Visualization Laboratory

As part of a series of workshops on “Large-Scale Data Analysis and Visualization,” the KAUST Visualization Laboratory (KVL) is pleased to announce a half-day introductory workshop on Scientific Visualization and Data Analysis with ParaView on Sunday, February 14.

Visualization experts from the laboratory will introduce – ParaView, an open-source, multi-platform data analysis and visualization application. ParaView users can quickly build visualizations to analyze their data using qualitative and quantitative techniques. Attendees will participate in a hands-on session working with ParaView to create 3-D visualizations of scientific datasets.

ParaView was developed to analyze extremely large datasets using distributed memory computing resources. It can be run on supercomputers to analyze datasets of terascale as well as on laptops for smaller data.
