As you may have noticed, the University Library has replaced the original self-check machines and gates that were installed during when KAUST was founded.
The new self-check machines are located near the entrances to the Library on level 0 and level 2 and allow anyone to check out or return books at any time of the day or night. These also allow visitors to check their Library accounts and renew books (a service also available online through the Library’s website).
The state-of-the-art self-check machines and security gates feature a more attractive design and provide better reporting tools to help the Library ensure that its print collections are best used by the KAUST community.
