In response to the Ministry of Agriculture’s recent decision to enforce the regulation that all scuba divers have a Saudi Arabian diving license, KMC will now complete the medical portion of the scuba diving license process.
The application form for the license must be filled out in Arabic, applicants can receive help with the first part of the form from either Coastline or the Government Affairs Department. Once completed, applicants can make an appointment at KMC by calling 940 or 012 808 0940.
Walk-ins or patients through the emergency department cannot be accepted. We would like to clarify that this is not simply paperwork, the doctor must do a physical exam before he/she can sign the declaration. This appointment is considered a “well check” and is not covered by insurance, please be prepared for a cash payment of 250 SAR at the time of your visit.
