The Office of Postdoctoral and Researcher Affairs (OPRA) is excited to announce KAUST’s first-ever Postdoc Appreciation Week! As a sustained member of the National Postdoctoral Association (NPA), KAUST joins institutions across the US, Canada, Ireland, Germany, Portugal and the UK in celebrating the significant contributions of our postdocs. This week, we recognize the vital role postdocs play in advancing research and innovation, while also fostering a sense of community, acknowledging their hard work, and addressing the unique challenges they face.
Postdoc Appreciation Week will feature a series of events designed to promote professional development, facilitate networking and celebrate the achievements of our postdocs.

Participate in the Postdoc Bingo Game!
Use this game as a fun way to break the ice, build connections, and learn more about your fellow postdocs. Here is how to participate:
- Download the Bingo Card with activities or characteristics related to the postdoc experience.
- Mingle with fellow postdocs: Talk to others and find people who match the descriptions on your card.
- Mark off matching descriptions: When you find someone who fits a description, mark that square on your card by writing their name.
- Aim for Bingo: Try to complete a row or column (or the entire card!).
- Win prizes or recognition: Submit the card with a completed row or column (or the entire card) to opra@kaust.edu.sa by Thursday, September 19 at 12:00 p,m. to enter the raffle and win small prizes or special recognition.
