Interactive art installation "The Rain Pavilion" now open

Community Services is pleased to reveal the latest interactive art installation for the KAUST community, “Rain” by Dalziel & Scullion. “Rain” is an immersive experience that portrays the diversity and subtlety of rain.

A circular seating area has been provided within the structure to allow visitors to sit, relax and enjoy the sound of rain. The installation will be open daily from 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. and 3:00 – 10:00 p.m.

In order to keep this site open and available for the whole community to enjoy, Community Services ask that all users refrain from eating, drinking, sleeping or smoking inside the Pavilion.

Dear All,
I went there with friends on Friday at 4:30 p.m.
We were not able to hear anything. I was not sure if it is still not working or that we had to push something to start the session.
Could someone let me know?
Many Thanks,
Ghada
