This is what you get back when you submit a “report it”:
Your request submitted successfully. Your request ID: 201403060962

Unfortunately that is usually the end of the story for the submitter. No further feedback makes it seem like a black hole of good intentions.

Unfortunately, I have to agree with John. I have submitted numerous items to reportit and never heard anything back about the status of my submission.

I have some other specific feedback about the tool. Is there someone who would like to receive user feedback and take action to improve the tool? I’d be happy to be in touch.

This is great! a “Report It” button should be added to the KAUST phone application .

Btw I think we need an update for the KAUST app. It keeps crashing.

Apologies that you have not received feedback on your report-it submissions. It is very important for the person who raises a concern be contacted and updated with what is being done to address the issue. We will be rolling out further education on the appropriate use of 911, 959 and the Report it system. Please do not hesitate to contact me for further information, and thanks for actively helping to make KAUST a safer place to live and work. Best regards Ed Sedgwick HSE Director (A)
