Transportation will be provided to the event. The bus will start from the Tamimi parking lot at 5:15 a.m. and return back from the venue at 2:00 p.m.
Tough Mudder is more than just an obstacle course. Built on a foundation of teamwork and overcoming obstacles, it’s a chance to experience the unexpected and accomplish something bigger than yourself. Challenge yourself to run, climb, crawl & pull yourself over the various obstacles! Adult participants will have the opportunity to take part in either a 5 km or 10 km distance with 21+ obstacles. Kids Below 13 years old can participate in a 1.5 km course with 8+ obstacles which will challenge their teamwork.
Bring your friends and family to support and cheer you at the Start and Finish Festival Area. The Festival Area will have good food, music and fun activities to enjoy.
Event categories are:
- Mini Mudder for ages 6 to 12, a 1.5 km course with 8+ obstacles
- Tough Mudder 5K for ages 13+, a 5 km course with 13+ obstacles
- Tough Mudder 10K for ages 14+, a 10 km course with 21+ obstacles
- Tougher Mudder 10K for ages 14+, a timed competitive 10 km course with 21 + obstacles. Finisher medal and prizes for winners.
Minors under the age of 18 years need to be accompanied by an adult guardian.

If there are enough registrations from KAUST, a bus can be arranged to the venue and back.
