The Parade of Nations relies on enthusiastic KAUST citizens to represent our diverse community. We already have over 40 Country Captains, but we’re still missing many. Check the list of countries for those that do not have a captain and volunteer by emailing hussain.sorooji@kaust.edu.sa.
The Country Captains are as varied as the people and countries of KAUST. Some captains wear their country dress or show off their country colors in what they wear. Others have pictures of famous sites at their tables for visitors to see. Some share samples of finger food from their countries, while others might display cultural items or crafts. The Parade of Nations, a signature KAUST event, will have 100 country tables representing our diverse community and celebrating all the nationalities that make up KAUST!
The Parade aims to showcase the multicultural strength and spirit of our KAUST community.
