As part of Government Affairs initiative to provide quality services to the KAUST community, we are pleased to announce a simplified process for KAUST female drivers to obtain a Saudi driving license.
Working closely with all concerned entities (Ministry of Interior, Traffic Department, driving schools, etc.), we are pleased to inform you that the KAUST Driving Permit is now recognized by the Traffic Department and requires only 6 hours (2 days) of training sessions instead of 30 hours (3 weeks) after assessment.

For all eligible female drivers, please note the categories above and submit your application by clicking here before the deadline on Thursday, July 5, 2018 (end of business day). For any female applicants that are currently off site there will be an additional opportunity to apply at the end of August (dates to be confirmed).
GA will provide:
- Transportation to/from the driving school and Traffic Departement office in Jeddah.
- A medical team will visit KAUST for the medical checkup required.
