Enrichment in the Fall is entering its final weekend with a range of activities and events for our community:
Fall Organic Produce Sale in association with Abazeer and Honey House
11:30 a.m. – 9:00 p.m, Friday, October 24 and Saturday, October 25,
Multipurpose Room, Discovery Square
This is a great opportunity to buy fresh, organic produce directly from local Saudi farmers for your dinner table. There will also be an opportunity to test a fabulous array of local honeys, including Suder, Samar, Qard, Majari, Summer and Dorim honey.
With a large array of delicious fresh fruit, vegetables and honeys on offer, you’ll be sure to find something delicious to enjoy. Be sure to bring small change and a big bag!
Nature Movie: More than Honey (2012)
8:00 – 10:00 p.m., Friday, October 24, Discovery Theater
This documentary takes a look at the economic, political and ecological implications of the worldwide disappearance of the honeybee.
The Vanishing of the Bees unfolds as a dramatic tale of science and mystery, illuminating this extraordinary crisis and its greater meaning about the relationship between humankind and Mother Nature. The bees have a message – but will we listen?
This screening will feature a discussion with Dr. Jean-Marc Bonmatin and is limited to 220 seats.
Nature Movie: The Big Year (2011)
4:00 – 6:00 p.m., Saturday, October 25, Discovery Theater
Based on the nonfiction book The Big Year: A Tale of Man, Nature and Fowl Obsession by Mark Obmascik, The Big Year is a heartwarming comedy starring Steve Martin, Jack Black and Owen Wilson as birdwatchers on a quest to see and identify the greatest number of species of birds in North America in a calendar year.
Grab some popcorn and enjoy free screenings of two highly entertaining films. Each film is based on our themes of wildlife and biodiversity. These screenings are open to all ages.
This event is limited to 220 seats.

Unfortunately the organic market was a bit disappointing. There was very little (or no?)organic produe. Furthermore, the honey was prices at SAR400 – SAR800 – hardly in line with the statement above that you should bring small change and a big bag.
