On Friday, June 5 at 5:00 p.m., Students for Sustainability will host a discussion on the documentary “Fairytales of Growth.” It is strongly recommended to watch the documentary before attending the webinar.
We will be joined by Marula Tsagkari, Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB), and Pierre Smith Khanna, who produced the Fairytales of Growth documentary.
The main focus of the talk will be “The elephant in the room: Growth, the Sustainable Development Goals, and the Degrowth alternative.”
Students for Sustainability are a student-led group, supported by the Office of Graduate Events and Recreation and the KAUST Sustainability Office.
