Human Resources is pleased to announce the start of the fall term of English courses for spouses. Spouses of any faculty, staff or student residing within the KAUST community are welcome to join the offered English classes which will run from Sunday, September 6 – Thursday, November 5 (with one week off for EID Break).
Courses cost 800 SAR and range from Beginner to Upper Intermediate levels. This is a great opportunity to improve your English, as well as interact with other community members with a desire to learn English.

Hello Amani,
Thank you for your question. The placement tests will take place on the dates and times in the registration – you only need to attend one placement test.
The courses meet twice a week for 1 1/2 hours per class. All our spouse classes are in the mornings, either from 8:30-10:00 or from 10:00-11:30.

Thanks for your response . Do they have the choice to choose between 8:30-10 and 10-11:30? or will it based on their placement test results?
The class time will depend on the class you are placed into. We generally only have one class per level, so unfortunately, we do not have the flexibility to offer choices on times.

as we are going in vacation , my wife will not have the chance to participate , during this session .
also I would like to ask if you are organizing any particular course face to face to improve the language and discussion ?
