BioBooths is an annual biodiversity awareness and education event organized by KAUST Health, Safety and Environment (HSE), bringing together KAUST research groups and environmental teams to showcase the biodiversity work taking place across the University.
Through a series of interactive booths, participating teams will introduce students to KAUST’s terrestrial and marine biodiversity, ongoing research, conservation initiatives, and practical actions that help protect local ecosystems.
This year, BioBooths will welcome five external schools from the Thuwal area alongside approximately 15 classes from The KAUST School (TKS), creating a busy morning of hands-on learning and engagement with young visitors.
The event provides an opportunity to highlight collaboration across KAUST and with local schools, while encouraging young people to explore biodiversity, understand the importance of conservation, and develop a stronger connection with the natural environment.
