A keynote lecture by Rene Frydman, Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Hôpitaux de Paris. He is a university professor, government advisor, and the doctor responsible for the birth of the first in-vitro baby in France.

Film Festival: Gattaca
8:00 PM – 9:15 PM | Discovery Cinema

Starring Ethan Hawke and Uma Thurman, with Jude Law, Loren Dean. Gattaca is a fiction about genetic discrimination in the future based on DNA sequencing. Christian Froekjaer Jensen, assistant professor of Bioscience at KAUST will introduce and lead the discussion of this screening.

Jazz Up Your Evening! LIVE @ THE HARBOR
8:00 PM – 9:30 PM | Harbor Walk

“Music by the Harbor” is jazz from the renowned Juilliard School at Lincoln Center, performed by Grammy Award-winning drummer Ulysses Owens, Jr. and a New York-based troupe of talents on a trajectory: Corentin Le Hir on bass, Liston Gregory on piano, and David Aedwumi on trumpet.
