Come to the Hub at the University Library

The Winter Enrichment Program (WEP) is launching a new Hub to make your WEP experience even greater. The entire second floor of the University Library will be devoted to the WEP, and will feature designated areas to keep you well informed, connected and entertained.
The Info Desk will guide you through the multiple opportunities WEP 2017 offers, with schedules, maps and gifts.
WEP on Air connect the WEP speakers and the KAUST community twice a day through our daily morning and afternoon interviews broadcasted on Facebook live and on KAUST TV. Grab a free coffee and tea, ask questions and interact with the WEP speakers.
“Create and Make” focuses on all the activities designed around creation, engineering and science for a personal “pushing the limits” experience.
The first week of WEP focuses on creation, featuring LEGO bricks building, origami, Chinese painting and calligraphy, kinetic sculptures and ceramics, while the second week is an invitation to make and features the basic concepts of IoT, designs for 3-D printing, analog and digital electronics.
Exhibitions include the two “Pop Up Exhibit” areas welcoming guests with great displays, including “KAUST, an Oasis for Birds,” Chinese painting and calligraphy and the KAUST Research Poster Competition.

Make sure not to miss the Opening on January 7 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. This will be the opportunity to explore the Hub and will include special animations and activities.
