At 10 a.m. this morning, President Jean-Lou Chameau addressed a crowd of approximately 100 community members. He thanked everyone for their dedication and community spirit. And he recognized the efforts of many people, including one young community member who used his skateboard to deliver large bottles of water during yesterday’s efforts.
According to organizers around 120 community members have signed up to help distribute water. If you wish to get involved, contact Omar Omar by email.
It is estimated that over one million liters of water have been distributed thus far. Volunteers will be out in force again today delivering water to homes throughout the community.

I would like to thank all the workers and the volunteers for their efforts. Great job!
I suggest that those who have enough bottled water or can visit one of the pick-up stations (this is the case for me) put a visible sign on the door, for example a white A4 paper.
