Dear KAUST Community,
This afternoon, KAUST experienced a power outage due to a break in the power lines outside of KAUST. While the causes and solutions are still being explored, we have been able to restore partial power to portions of the campus and the community.
Lab safety personnel are to ensure that only essential equipment is utilizing backup power and to continue monitoring the laboratories.
KAUST Medical Clinic and Tamimi are operating with the use of backup generators.
Please help by continuing to conserve power.
