Update for Family Visit Visa Extension procedure

Government Affairs would like to inform all KAUST community members who invited their families on a Family Visit Visa that to extend the visa through the MOI “Absher” system, the sponsor needs to get health insurance for the visitors for the system to complete the extension.

The Arabian Shield insurance company is providing an online health insurance issue service for visa extension. To check the insurance service, please click here.

Kindly check the visa validity, which can be extended seven days before the expiry date. To check on the visa validity, log in to your MOI account > my dashboard > visit visas.
