FINAL REMINDER: February 7, 2019 – Activation of 2FA for KAUST Webmail

KAUST IT would like to remind all users that it will be enabling Duo 2FA on KAUST webmail to ensure secure access to your mailbox when you are off campus. Users who do not subscribe with Duo will no longer be able to access webmail on and off campus after the activation date.

What is it?

2FA sends you a code or push notification that will serve as an additional security layer to protect your data and research from hackers. Webmail, accessed via webmail.kaust.edu.sa, allows you to view your email anywhere, on/off campus, from a browser.

Starting when?

To avoid any service disruptions, please set up Duo Mobile Application on your phones or tablets by February 7, 2019. Please note: If you have already enrolled for Duo Security, you will not need to register again.

In order to register, please check your mailbox for an enrollment email from Duo Security (no-reply@duosecurity.com) and sign up as soon as possible.

For ease of use, you may refer to the short tutorial available here, and for more support information, please contact itservicedesk@kaust.edu.sa.
