There will be three community teams (Team Canada, Team USA, and Team Antipodeans) and three international school teams (TKS, British International School, and American International School) participating in this full day event. The tournament begins and 9:00 a.m. and culminates with the final game at 5:15 p.m. All games will be played on the middle field of the horseshoe in Thuwal Park.
Aside from the excitement of the games, there will be T-Ball/Coach Pitch clinics for the younger kids as a way of introducing the sport to the community. Experienced parents and coaches from the community will be working with the kids on a side field to introduce some skills and to play some lead-up games.
10:00 – 10:45 a.m. ages 4-5
11:00 – 11:45 a.m. ages 6-7
12:00 – 12:45 a.m. ages 8-10
More fun for the young ones begins at 3:00 p.m. and goes to the end of the event with KAUST Rec supporting kids activities including the ever-exciting bouncy castles.
What would a softball tournament be without the hot dogs and popcorn? The TKS Sprit Team will be supporting the experience with your typical ballpark concessions stand.
