TKS receives triple recognition of Excellence from CIS, IB and MSA

Accreditation Review Confirms TKS’s Commitment to Student Success

We are proud to announce that, following a synchronized evaluation visit in November 2025, theKAUST School (TKS) has successfully achieved re-accreditation from the International Baccalaureate (IB), the Council of International Schools (CIS), and the Middle States Association (MSA). This rigorous external review confirmed that TKS is a world-class institution committed to excellence, innovation, and the holistic development of every student. The re-accreditation process happens every five years and marks a significant milestone for our school. What it means for TKS students to be enrolled in a CIS-accredited school can be found at this link.

Visiting teams specifically commended our faculty’s professionalism, the shared leadership vision for personalized learning, and our mature culture of continuous improvement. This means TKS doesn’t just meet standards but actively works to exceed them. The report identified several areas of innovation that set TKS apart, specifically our responsible AI use (RAIL) framework, flexible scheduling for intervention and extension time for students, and inclusive teaching practices. The recommendations from IB, CIS, and MSA provide us with a clear roadmap for our next stage of growth. These recommendations were framed not as gaps, but as natural next steps for a school that has established strong foundations and is ready to move toward deeper innovation. We are committed to deepening consistency across divisions, further supporting multilingualism, formalizing ethical AI use, and enhancing family communication to keep you better informed of your child’s progress and school initiatives.

Thank you to our entire community for the support that made this achievement possible.
