Growing More with Less: Innovation for Sustainable Food Security
Mark Tester is Professor of Plant Science and Chair of the Center of Excellence for Sustainable Food Security at KAUST. His seminar will explore how research on salt-tolerant crops moves from the lab to market, including how he and his team have built companies that combine plant science and engineering to grow food with saltwater, cutting the water and carbon footprint of agriculture.
