With the primary goal of supporting talented scientists and encouraging technology development in Saudi Arabia, Saudi Basic Industries Corporation (SABIC) and KAUST launched the SABIC Postdoctoral Fellowship Awards at an inaugural awards ceremony on November 19, 2011.
Following the successful completion of round one, the University is pleased to announce round two of the SABIC Postdoctoral Fellowship awards. This year there will be 13 SABIC Postdoctoral Fellowships awarded.
Professor Jean Frechet, Vice President for Research (VPR) has called for KAUST faculty to nominate candidates for the 2012 selection process before the May 14, 2012 deadline. Fellowships will be effective for the period July 1, 2012 to June 30, 2013.
Fellowship award selection will be carried out in conjunction with SABIC to identify priority areas with the final selection made by KAUST VPR.
