The KAUST Visualization Laboratory Presents: Interactive Scientific Visualization with Unity3D

The KAUST Visualization Laboratory is pleased to announce a half-day hands-on workshop on Interactive Scientific Visualization with Unity3D on Sunday, March 20. Visualization experts from the laboratory will introduce participants to scientific data exploration with Unity3D – a flexible and powerful 3-D game engine for creating multiplatform 3-D and 2-D environments and interactive experiences. It’s a complete ecosystem for anyone who aims to create high-end data-exploration content and deploy that content across a wide array of platforms including desktop, VR devices like the Oculus Rift and mobile devices.

Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in a hands-on session by importing and working with a scientific dataset within the Unity framework to create an immersive experience.
