The Community Express Bus is Back!

Saturday Service Begins on September 15

Back by popular demand, the Community Express Bus will start trips every Saturday to selected destinations, chosen by you. From now until January, enjoy trips to the new corniche in Jeddah, family theme parks, the Jeddah aquarium, seaside resorts, shopping centers and more!

The Community Express bus runs on a flexible time schedule that depends on the destination of the week. Depending on the chosen location, you may need to buy attraction tickets prior to your travel, or make your own reservations at a restaurant for example.

Have a look at the selected destinations and book your seat as normal using the online system. Also consult the normal off-campus bus schedule.

HI, for the theme party. Can we buy the group tickets in advance? I couldn’t find the details? Can we buy the school tickets.

Hi,
I believed many of us have asked again and again for additional buses for Madinah and Makkah. Will transportation team entertain this request, ever? And when you say “Popular Demand”, when and how actually we made the demand? How do we get into the “demanding” group, so that our humble request be heard?

Sandra September 13, 2018 - 9:47 am

Hello T. Hassan,

The “Popular Demand” was derived from the results of the Community Express Bus Survey that was open to all community members to take. It was published, before the summer break, on multiple channels throughout the community including this platform, The Lens.

Hello, I went to Carrefour last Saturday and we did not have enough time to do our shopping. Indeed, this Saturday morning, there were many people in Carrefour. We had to tell the driver to delay the departure by 15 minutes. The April schedules for Carrefour were correct, it gave us time to do our shopping without running.

Farah Akhtar October 2, 2018 - 7:41 pm

Thanks for your reply Marion – we will take this into account when the next schedule to Carrefour is organized.
