I would like to thank the members of the KAUST community who attended my welcome reception. What an excellent way to start off the 2018-2019 academic year. Monica and I feel genuinely embraced by the warm people at KAUST. We certainly had a lovely time meeting some of you, and we hope to engage with many more of you in the future.
