As we close our sixth annual Back to School Campaign, the Social Responsibility department would like to thank all those who contributed to yet another successful year!

Your support helped us provide school bags and supplies to 700 students in Thuwal and Qadimah. More than 150 volunteers from the KAUST community helped us assemble the bags and deliver them to our neighboring towns.

This year, we would like to highlight the outstanding support we received from the KAUST Schools, which added an important dimension to the campaign efforts. While you may have met TKS students campaigning at Tamimi, they didn’t stop there. TKS students and teachers visited and interacted with their peers in Thuwal, discussing interesting ways to stay in touch and collaborate on projects during the school year.

As we continue to build meaningful bonds through sustainable programs in our surrounding areas, we again thank the community, volunteers, TKS, and participating KAUST departments – we could not have done this without you!
