Taraweeh Prayer

Dear KAUST community,

Government Affairs wishes you Ramadan Kareem.

Taraweeh prayers are expected to be performed on Friday, April 1, 2022.

Ishaa and Taraweeh (special night prayers) will be performed in King Abdullah Mosque at KAUST.

Both male and female prayer areas will be available to the KAUST community.

During Ramadan, other KAUST mosques are open for all prayers except Ishaa and Taraweeh.

  • Ishaa and Taraweeh prayers time will be 45 minutes.
  • During the month of Ramadan, the time between Maghrib and Ishaa Athan will be 1:40 hours.

Attendees of Taraweeh prayers cherish its tranquility and serenity. Please consider this before bringing your children.

Worshippers are requested to follow Keeping KAUST Safe guidelines and wear a face covering inside the mosque.

Please ensure that children are not allowed inside the prayer area. It is extremely disturbing as kids are crying, screaming, and running around during the taraweeh prayer!!
