Take your e-Waste to a better place!

Got an old laptop that you’ve been meaning to throw away? Or a bunch of dead batteries? Drop off your E-waste and batteries at the reuse center or E-waste drop off locations around KAUST! For bulkier electronic waste, call 959 and request for collection.

What is E-waste?

E-waste includes any kind of electronic devices such as mobile phones, TV, charging cables as well as household appliances such as blenders, microwaves, etc. that are no longer of any use in your home.

Why should we dispose E-waste safely?

Harmful chemicals such as mercury, lead and chromium from electronic devices and batteries contaminate the landfills, pollute soil and affect human health.

Don’t dispose your E-waste, take it to a better place!

Where can we dispose our E-waste in KAUST?

  1. Tamimi Supermarket entrance
  2. Recycling and Reuse Center entrance
  3. Central Services Administrative Building entrance
  4. Building 16, level 2 (lobby)
  5. Campus Library entrance
  6. CMOR Lab reception area
  7. The KAUST School lobby
  8. Campus Diner entrance
  9. Research and Tech Park entrance

The drop-off locations can also be found on a map using this link.
