Students for Sustainability: End-of-the-year Open Meeting

Students for Sustainability is excited to invite you to our end-of-year meeting, where we will highlight our 2024 activities and accomplishments.

KAUST Students for Sustainability (S²) is a graduate student-led group committed to promoting sustainability awareness within the community under the mentorship of the Office of Sustainability and the stewardship of the Office of Student Life, Student Affairs. It was founded in 2019 to take action toward sustainability with measurable impact. Its mission is to promote intellectual exchange on sustainability issues, support and collaborate with the KAUST Office of Sustainability, and enable student action that advances KAUST Sustainability Vision, the Kingdom’s Vision 2030, and the global sustainability agenda under the framework of the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

Some of the initiatives led by Students for Sustainability include the Sustainability Seminar Series,  Sustainability Workshop Series, the Sustainable Supper Club, Waste to Art workshops, and the initiation of the KAUST Precious Plastic project.

We would love to have you there to celebrate what we have achieved together throughout the year!

This event is open to the whole KAUST Community, so feel free to bring anyone interested in learning about our projects along with you.
