Strengthening digital trust at KAUST

Cybersecurity and data privacy awareness program 2026: now live

Protecting information at KAUST goes beyond technology. It relies on informed people, good practices, and shared responsibility.

As part of KAUST’s ongoing commitment to information protection and alignment with national requirements, the University is launching the 2026 annual awareness refreshers, covering both cybersecurity and data privacy.

Together, these refreshers reinforce how KAUST protects its digital environment and personal data — two closely connected aspects of responsible information use.

This year’s refresher training consists of two sets of short, interactive modules designed to be practical and easy to complete.

What’s new this year

This year’s launch includes a refreshed cybersecurity awareness platform, redesigned to offer a clearer, more intuitive, and more engaging experience for users.

The updated platform features a modern look and feel, simplified navigation, and engaging visual content that makes key cybersecurity topics easier to understand and access.

Next steps

All users will receive system-generated emails with links to access and complete the mandatory awareness trainings.

Those who wish to begin immediately may also access the refreshers directly using the following links:

* The Data Privacy training is not required if completed during onboarding in 2025.

We strongly encourage all users to complete these trainings as soon as possible.

Thank you for your continued support in keeping KAUST secure and trusted.
