Streamline your systematic reviews: KAUST Library offers Covidence trial

KAUST Library is delighted to offer all current staff, researchers, and students access to a 6-month unlimited discovery institutional license to Covidence from July 1 to December 31, 2025.

Covidence is an AI-powered, web-based platform that streamlines the production of systematic/scoping/rapid/literature reviews. It supports reference/citation screening, full-text review, risk of bias/quality assessment, extraction of study characteristics and outcomes, and the export of data and references. The platform interface is intuitive and can save time on repetitive review tasks, enabling faster review production and more time for analysis and interpretation.

Why join KAUST’s discovery license to access Covidence?

  • Unlimited references/citations for each review
  • Unlimited number of reviewers for each review
  • Unlimited number of reviews

We’ll be offering online training sessions in August and September! Look out for an announcement with the exact dates and times soon.

Please note: all reviews created in the trial license will have the opportunity to have an additional 12 months of access after the trial ends, allowing reviewers more time to complete their work. A survey email will be sent to all participating members to gather feedback to help the university understand the value of Covidence and help with the decision to obtain an institutional license and how it has benefited their staff and researchers.
