“Exciting the Mind”
Professor Olwi joined King Abdulaziz University first as a graduate student and then as a faculty member. He has served as a professor of Aeronautical Engineering, leading initiatives such the Gifted Students’ Center and the Students’ Counseling Unit. His passion for education and young people also led him to hold summer enrichment programs for gifted students at KAU, sponsored by Mawhiba.
Creativity is a constant theme throughout his work. A professor of Aeronautical Engineering, he is passionate about realizing creativity in every aspect of life.
That led to a sustainable energy engine: Creating enthusiasm in science and Engineering among the youth.
Having mentored gifted students for several decades has fulfilled his dream of nurturing of great men and women of the future.
