South Beach: Opening hours during Eid Al-Adha

On the occasion of Eid Al Adha, the Beach will be open for all the community/ families to enjoy. The operating hours will be as follows:

Thursday 31 August	2:00 – 8:00 p.m.
Friday 1 September*	9:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
Saturday 2 September	9:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
Sunday 3 September	2:00 – 8:00 p.m.
Monday 4 September*	2:00 – 8:00 p.m.
Tuesday 5 September	2:00 – 8:00 p.m.
Wednesday 6 September	2:00 – 8:00 p.m.
Thursday 7 September	2:00 – 8:00 p.m.
Friday 8 September	9:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
Saturday 9 September	9:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.

* No ladies day during Eid break.

Why isn’t the beach open 9am to 8pm EVERY day of the Eid holiday? There are a lot of people staying at KAUST over Eid and I’m sure many, like me, wanted to go to the beach in the morning instead of the heat of the afternoon.
