Science to Watch: ‘Capturing the Starlight, the Magnificent Telescopes’ produced and directed by Theofanis Matsopoulos.

This 30 minute docufilm was awarded the Best Fulldome Cinematography at the Russian Fulldome Festival, 2017. The film will be of interest to astronomers, scientists and the KAUST Community.

Join Dr. Hateim Ltaeif who is designing new instruments for the European Extremely Large Telescope project (E-ELT) for an informal Q & A session right after the film.

The aim of the Science to Watch series is to increase public awareness about science, to stimulate curiosity about the research conducted here at KAUST, and at the same time enjoy a good movie with friends, including pizza and popcorn. The post-movie discussion is guided by a KAUST scientist working in the area.
