Registration open for the new and improved Arabic Language Program

Bringing Language to Life – Bridging Cultures, Empowering Communication

Discover the new Arabic Language Program, created with Qananteer to help KAUST community members thrive in our multicultural environment. Gain practical communication skills and confidence for daily life, academics, and deeper cultural understanding.

Adults Program

  • Dates: October 12 – November 20, 2025 (5 weeks excluding TKS break from October 19 to 23)
  • Schedule: 2 days per week, 3 hours each (15 hours total)
  • LocationECC3, room K109
  • Levels: 3 main levels: Pre A1, A1 and A2 (CEFR framework)
  • Fee: 690 SAR per course
  • Payment deadline: October 10 (cash or card at Harbor Sports Club Reception)

Kids Program

  • Dates: Oct 12 to Dec 4, 2025 (7 weeks excluding TKS break from October 19 to 23)
  • Schedule: 2 days per week, 45 mins each class (10.5 hours per week)
  • LocationECC3, room K110
  • Ages: 6–12 years
  • Fee: 805 SAR per course
  • Payment deadline: October 10 (cash or card at Harbor Sports Club Reception)

Open Night

(This part will also be added to the event calendar)

We’re excited to welcome all past, current and future students to our Open Night for the new and improved Arabic Language Program.  The Open Night is a great opportunity to meet the teachers, learn more about the new program and get a placement test.  

Please note the following:

  • Learners without prior knowledge of Arabic will be placed directly at the beginner level. The placement test is intended only for those who already have some foundation in Arabic and are able to read the language.
  • We can assess 3 people at one time so please choose your preferred time 
  • If you are late, your assessment will be allocated to someone else
  • Please arrive 10 minutes before your allocated time.
