The Enrichment in the Spring program runs from April 22-30 and is full of exciting events for the entire community, starting with the first ever Jazz festival at KAUST, with three days of movies and live music from Jeddah Jazz Quartet, Dhahran Big Band and The Leftovers, as well as a very special jam session.

Our theme for this spring is “Exploring Innovation,” from trends and developments worldwide to the great work being done here at KAUST. Tom Skalak of the Paul G. Allen Family Foundation will join us for a fascinating keynote lecture on how to create ecosystems that foster innovation.

We’ll also celebrate World Intellectual Property day with an IP symposium and a keynote lecture on innovation and intellectual property from Peter L. Hoffman of Boeing. And we’ll wow you with a special KAUST technology showcase and a tour of the core labs.

KAUST students will have the opportunity to take part in STEAM, a brand new program where small teams work to solve big problems facing the world in 48 hours.

With all this and a sculpture tour, community photo exhibition and many other events, you’ll be able to explore and enjoy innovation and creativity in all kinds of ways. Be sure to visit the Creativity hub in the lobby of the Auditorium!

We look forward to seeing you at Enrichment in the Spring 2016!
