Recycling Never Rewarded So Well

In response to the phenomenal success of the “Reverse Vending Machine” (REVA) Facilities & Community are pleased to announce the continued support of this vital and popular program.

Over the past nine months, KAUST has recycled over 133,000 bottles and cans via the REVA system, distributing over 900 prizes to the Community ranging from mouse pads, Frisbees, reusable shopping bags, and LED torches. Click the Image for the full list of prizes.

If you haven’t already, check out the REVA machines, located at the Campus Diner and Discovery Square.

It is a good & excellent idea, why it is applied only for KAUST Employee, how about the Service Providers who can contribute a lot in this campaign. They were not allow to get the reward even if you get the points or tickets unless you bring someone from KAUST direct employee. Now I understand that they are having shortage in the reward items, how much more if it is open to all Service Provider in KAUST.

Hi Rob. I understand that this was originally open to all but this had to be changed as some of our Service Providers were actually bringing recycle bottles etc onto campus and claiming all prizes. It is a shame but SPs have been given the details of this promotion and are encouraged to do the same on their sites so we are still spreading the recycle word!
