Dear KAUST community,
Government Affairs wishes you Ramadan Kareem. Taraweeh prayer is expected to be performed on Monday, March 11, 2024.
Ishaa and Taraweeh (special night prayers) will be performed in King Abdullah Mosque at KAUST. Both male and female prayer areas will be available to the KAUST community.
During Ramadan, the other KAUST mosques are open for all prayers except Ishaa and Taraweeh.
Clarification:
- During the month of Ramadan, the time between Maghrib and Ishaa Athan will be 2 hours.
- The time between the Ishaa Athan and Iqama is 5 minutes.
- Ishaa and Taraweeh prayer times will be 45 minutes.
Attendees of Taraweeh prayers cherish its tranquility and serenity. Please consider this before bringing your children. We kindly request refraining from bringing young children who are unable to join the prayer to the mosque, ensuring everyone’s comfort and focus during this blessed time.
Kindly be reminded that the KAUST community can now listen to the live broadcast of the call to prayer (the Athan) from the King Abdullah Grand Mosque through their personal devices. This convenient feature is intended to assist community members in accurately tracking prayer timings at KAUST. You may access this functionality via the KAUST Mosques feature in the KAUSTCentral application.
Regards,
Sulaiman Al-Thunayan
