Quantum Computational model of a Brain
: Is the Brain A Quantum Computer?

CBRC’s Quantum Computing Initiative (QCI) invites you to attend the Quantum Computational model of a Brain
: Is the brain a quantum computer? presentation.

10:00 a.m.

Ibn Al-Haytham west, level 5, room 5209

Can a synergy of biology, mathematics, quantum mechanics and computer science bring us closer to an understanding of how the brain functions? KAUST Research Scientist Aleksandar Radovanovic will present an overview of theories from a multidisciplinary point of view, which add a layer of complexity to existing models of the brain.

The Quantum Computing Initiative (QCI) is an open informal group, which started at the Computational Bioscience Research Center in 2012, with an interest in following the advancement and possibly contributing to the area of quantum computing.
