This event is a collaboration between the Quantum Photonics Lab and IBM Quantum to introduce the KAUST scientific community to Quantum Computing from hardware to algorithms. The event consists of two parts, quantum talks from the morning to afternoon and a Quantum computing programming workshop using Qiskit in the evening, you can register for one of the parts or both.
How to harness their power to real-life applications using quantum algorithms, and end with a panel that combines the quantum talks given by IBM on their hardware roadmap, and how to harness their power to real-life applications using quantum algorithms, and ends with a panel that combines the IBM experts and KAUST faculty to discuss collaboration opportunities. The Qiskit workshop will start with an introduction to the Qiskit framework, followed by a use-case demonstration on a real quantum computer. Then, participants will work on mini-challenges using Qiskit with expert guidance.
